Some coins were minted abroad and imported in 1857-58, 1943, 1985, 1997-2002 and these bear the mint marks of their origin as follow:

M for MEXICO MINT
C for ROYAL CANADIAN MINT

In computer terms, b denotes a bit and B denotes a byte.
